Book Recommendations
Poetry
For the poet lover, I recommend starting out with these two modern day artists who have in my experiences always been enjoyable: Sherman Alexie with The Lone ranger and Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven and John Rybickie’s, We Bed Down into Water.
Classic Literature
Two of my all time favorite books have and will always be, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Both of these books are so very interesting and can be discussed in many different ways, If you haven’t read these I encourage you to do so immediately.
Shakespeare
If you read the name Shakespeare and rolled your eyes, this section is not for you. However, if you showed any interest here are three of my favorite works by him that I’ve grown to love over the years The Merchant of Venice, Richard the III, and Twelfth Night
Mitch Albom
Mitch Albom is noted for his inspirational books including Tuesday with Morrie, the Five People you Meet in Heaven, For One More Day, and Have a Little Faith .If you’re looking for a nice, captivating, easy read, I suggest picking up his books.
